This is a rare opportunity for an experienced CNC Operator to be involved from the very start - taking ownership of daily operations across production and warehousing, and as the operation scales, stepping up to build and lead a team from the ground up.
The Role - CNC Machine Operator
Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team predominantly based at our other sites, in this hands-on role you’ll ensure the smooth running of our new manufacturing and warehouse operation, while helping shape future processes as the operation grows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting and operating CNC machinery for the beam saw to produce high-quality customer orders.
Assembling finished goods and carrying out quality checks to ensure all products meet specification standards.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace, carrying out routine machine maintenance.
Managing stock flow and liaising with our distribution centre to coordinate materials and collections of completed orders.
Monitoring systems and workflows to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
Assisting in driving high standards in health and safety, compliance, and operational performance.
Meeting key performance targets for speed, accuracy, and output.
- As the operation grows, there will be a chance to progress into a leadership position - recruiting, training, and developing apprentices and team members, and shaping the next phase of the operation.
