Snowdon Timber Products is a fast-growing, multi-entity business, and we’re creating a Financial Controller / Senior Management Accountant role to support the next phase of growth.
This is a hands-on position with real influence. You’ll lead the day to day finance function, work closely with the Managing Director and Non-Exec FD, and build the foundations needed for continued expansion.

What You’ll be Responsible for
- Producing monthly management accounts, budgets and cashflow
- Providing clear insight to support business decisions and growth
- Strengthening financial controls across multiple entities
- Managing year-end, compliance and external relationships
- The day-to-day finance function including bookkeeping (with support to be recruited as the business grows)
- Leading migration from Sage to Xero
- Helping build and lead a finance team as the business grows
- What We’re Looking For
- Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or working towards). QBE will also be considered.
- Experience in a Financial Controller or Management Accountant role within an SME.
- Strong communicator, able to work closely with non-finance colleagues
- Friendly, practical team player who leads by example
- Commercial mindset and confidence to challenge constructively
- Comfortable operating in a growing, fast-moving environment
- Strong accounting systems experience (Xero/Sage ideal)
